Clinical Unit of Health Promotion

- In 1999 the Unit was established as a development unit the objective of which was to develop methods for prevention, health promotion and rehabilitation.
- In 2004 the Unit was appointed WHO Collaborating Centre for Evidence-Based Health Promotion in Hospitals. The Unit functions in an advisory and supportive capacity for hospitals, locally, regionally, and nationally.

The main area is evidence and research based implementation and the development of models and materials. Of current interest see, e.g., the Stop-Smoking Base (in Danish) and Rehabilitation across sectors.
