One of the Unit’s most significant visions is to support the implementation of preventive and health promotion measures at hospitals.

We have established a function the purpose of which is to disseminate knowledge and to market the Unit, its materials and expertise. This function is staffed with information officers and office clerks. The purpose is partly to make the Unit visible as a cooperating partner to Danish hospitals and other organizations in relation to clinical prevention and health promotion, and partly to be in charge of production, dissemination and distribution of materials for the implementation of preventive initiatives at hospitals.

Dissemination of knowledge is carried out mainly in the form of written guidance or telephone advice, at information meetings, theme days, staff meetings, training sessions and distribution of written materials produced by the Unit, such as textbooks, teaching materials, reports, pamphlets, and so on.
